Hey there...

So, I've had a set of SS rocker panel in the garage for almost a year.. I finally went out and bought the Alcohol and other things I needed... I got looking at the truck and it appears the door spears are in the way. The driver side is pealing pretty bad so I should probably replace that one... can I remove them/re-apply them, or should I just throw them out and buy a replacement set from LMC? Do most people move them up on the door above the crease? How do you remove them? Heat gun or is there a solvent to use?

I think you can do it the same way you do with removing badges, with a fishing line and whatever you prefer to remove all the crap. Im about to remove my spears and thats what I was planning on doing...

So you just pull the fishing line behind the spear and saw it off then? What do you use to pull the glue off the paint?

I believe thats how you can do it. Im pretty sure its just held on the same way as badges, so you can use an eraser wheel

Just as he says, thats the way I did it and some goo-be-gone But I never tried using a heat gun- I say give it a try and see if that works better.
