Double din bezel 4th gen

I am considering putting a DD my 2012 1500. Anyone know where I could get a bezel? I heard you can order the navi bezel from the dealership? Is this true and if so is it the best route?

4th gens are DD. no need for a special bezel.

I thought they were a din and a half? and you have to cut to make an aftermarket DD fit?

there is a cut behind the bezel. but DD fits in there quite nicely. I've had 2 aftermarket DDs in mine.

Even on the slt? Looks awfully small. And what about the sides are those spacers I've seen something they have put together or they bought?

you will have to buy a 4th gen specific double din installation kit. it will fill the gaps.

Decided to go for it! Bought the new pioneer app double din from best buy( can't remember model number right off). But they said they didn't have the wire harness in stock. I started lookin online and couldn't find anything specifically for the '12s anyone know if the harness is the same from the '09s up?

where the hell can I get a wire harness for the RES in my 2012 1500??? cant find one anywhere. pleeeeease tell me I don't have to buy that high dollar interface thing???

Was that only because you had the steering wheel controls or was it absolutely necessary just to install a new deck? I only have an express so I don't even have the steering wheel controls or any of that fancy stuff so I'm hoping I won't have to get one.

I finally got everything together and did it. Not sure how to upload pics but if anyone wants to see some you can tell me how. I went with the pioneer appradio 2. My opinion on it is... It's TERRIBLE. They have a good concept but Pioneer just doesn't have it all together yet.
