driver mirror recall - issue

Hello! Have a 2020 ram 1500 classic, got a letter for a recall for the driver side mirror, it's been in to the dealer twice now, both times the new mirror came with a warp to it, looks like a clown house mirror. The manager looked at it after the last install and agreed there was an issue. We've got it booked now for the 3rd install, is anyone else having this issue, or is this just our luck that the mirrors are defective, or do we have someone pushing it in that's causing the warp? We've wasted 2 hours now waiting for service so want this resolved.

Was your mirror dimming when it shouldn't? Mine has on my warlock once.

Nope, it's just a regular cab classic, not fancy enough to have dimming on the mirror. Surprised it's now been 2 mirror's and was never an issue prior to the recall fix...
