My driver side low-beam doesn't work anymore. I thought it was the bulb so i replaced it but it still doesn't work. Can anyone here give me a sort of checklist for me to run through so that I could avoid having to take my truck to the dealership? My truck is a 07 1500.

a few basics

-check fuses
-check for power at the bulb plug (white/dark blue)
-continuity check between plug ground wire (black/light blue) and chassis
-clean the plug connection with a bit of high grit sand paper
-check for good connection with multi-plugs under TIPM

I'm gonna go with a crappy connection on on the main connector for the headlight.

My truck has been doing this for years. So much so. I carry a spare 10mm socket so I can rip the grill off. Take out the light and wiggle the wires lol

Mine did that when I first got it. had the dealer replace the bulb, then it did it again in a couple days. After some online research, I pulled both headlights, and slightly twisted the flat pins in the connectors, then filled with dielectric grease. Haven't had a problem since - almost a year now.
