It all started with a thunk! when unlocking. Now its a whirlll-jolt! Wake up! I ordered a new Mopar one. I heard the after markets dont last too long and arent so quiet.

What did you pay for it? I'll be ordering one for the rear drivers side. The Mopar site I was using is a little confusing. It shows two different part numbers, both of which have been superseded by different new part numbers. One is like 78 bucks, the other is like 88 bucks.

I've also heard unhappy stories about aftermarket replacements. Figure this is something I don't want to skimp on just because of the pain in the ass factor of changing it.

You may want to use an impact driver on the screws that hold it in place. The kind you use with a hammer. I'll probably order new screws at the same time just in case.

Took 1.5 hrs to replace. Impact not needed. It is awkward to replace. But, problem solved.
