Thanks for the heads up. Mine may have been in that group. I need to check the build date tomorrow.

Damn

An incomplete weld between the rear driveshaft tube and the tube yoke might cause the weld to crack and fracture the driveshaft. If this happens, the driveshaft might hit the ground while driving, and in addition to a loss of motive force, the dragging shaft might cause road debris. Ram said in the recall documents that noise or vibrations might preview the weld's failure

I read that after my post. I see there’s another recall about something related to air bags.

I am having the worst time getting this recall completed.

In my first visit the part "ordered" on June 17th, they said wait for a call and it can take 3 to 5 days. Well time flies by since my wife had pregnancy issues so we were in and out of the hospital.

On July 9th I call back hey have no order placed for the part to fix my recall and to continue to drive my truck because "everything will be fine". They said no orders were placed for your truck in June so we will place an order now and wait 3 days for a call.

I drove it sparingly due to my wife finally giving birth on July 1st so I am driving around in our jeep instead.

July 19th I call I call in to see the status and he says the part was finally ordered on July 17th and it would take a couple of days due to a backorder on this heavy demanded part for recalls. When I asked if I should garage the truck he said I cannot answer yes or no but he knows the other people affected in the recall have been driving their trucks but he still cannot answer "yes or no".

I hope at least they will give me a loaner whenever the repair is ready to go.
