What is the best way to dry a truck? limiting swirl marks. I just got a black truck and i am going crazy already!

Also, does anyone use an inline water filter for there hose when they wash there car? to eliminate water spots... which one do you use?

I found with my Mustang that a quick spray with instant detailer made it dry off with far less microfiber - car contact.

And I do "Flood" with low pressure water from hose....Amazing how water actually helps dry a vehicle...pulls a majority of the water right off...And I use a Master Blaster blower....warm filtered air and it dries the dually in now time...great for where water collects when washing too...mirrors, door handles, etc.

what i use on my black truck

drying towel from chemical guys to get 90% of the water off right away

then go back with a standard microfiber to finish drying (get the last 10%) off the truck

then i use a stihl cb600 backpack blower....go around the truck 2 times with it

then go back and finish with the standard microfiber towel

finish with hybrid v7 detailer/sealant from chemical guys

(fyi never ever use a dry towel to "dry" your truck. Always get is wet and ring it out first)

dry towel will scratch

Quick and dirty process for safe and efficient drying:

1) Use the pool/sheet rinse method to get the majority of water off the surface
2) Master Blaster/Sidekick/electric leaf blower to remove water from cracks/crevices
3) Detail Spray to aid in the drying process/neutralize water spots along with a Great White Drying Towel
4) Final wipedown with another drying towel or plush microfiber and any additional Detail Spray as necessary

I use the great white drying towel and detail spray from Adams Polishes. Check out their videos on drying. I don't have a leaf blower or any blower.
