I have a 2017 1500 Laramie 5.7. Just replaced the electronic fuel pump assembly and I have DTC illuminated. There are no codes at all and no check engine light. Vehicle was just inspected with no issues. Any thoughts on how to clear the DTC? (The Evap code cleared)

The DTC is likely a permanent code, or possibly a pending code.

Basically, if certain safety or drivability related system fails a check, the PCM wont let you clear it. It will clear itself after a certain number of drive cycles, if the fault doesn't reappear.

You probably can't see what the code is, or its pending/permanent status because you aren't using a scan tool that can read the trucks various systems.

A low end code reader like that AL319 can read the generic, universal OBD codes. There are a great deal more codes in the various other modules than just those.
