I’m planning a dual battery setup to use with my ‘04 1500 for overlanding. I know a lot of people who have installed dual batteries use this CAI. I’d like to see different CAIs others have used. Ideally, I’d like the filters to be protected a little more.
Thanks

I have the Vararam CAI and I used the factory air filter box for a dual battery setup when we went camping last week. The second battery ran the inverter in the rear as we needed it. Have a switch behind the factory battery to turn on and off when needing to charge other battery and turn off so it wouldn't drain both batteries when using inverter during the night. Just an idea!
