So I've positive comments about both Duraflaps and Gatorback. Given these two options, which would you choose and why? Gatorbacks appear to be a thicker and made of heavy rubber. Duraflaps made of a poly/rubber combo without needing to be as thick; also have vertical grooves to supposedly help control splash around the flap. Duraflaps also made in America.

Not familiar with the Gatorbacks, but I have the Duraflaps and love them...serious heavy duty mud flaps!

Well.....I have the Gatorbacks, pricey and not as tough as I thought, good thing. I actually tore one off just a few weeks ago due to my not paying attention while backing up and the fact that I have my flaps about 3 inches off the ground.
Got the damn thing stuck between the curb and my tire and kept backing up till it tore off.
An hour later all fixed.
