I have a 02 ram 2500 w/ 5.9 360, 103k miles, and just got it back from having the tranny rebuilt. Dealer said it was weak and torque convertor was bad, and it's still under the extended warranty so they went ahead and rebuilt it. I was bringing it home last night, it shifts just fine in 1-3. But when it shifts into overdrive, it acts like it shifts just a little early. It's not slipping or hesitating, it just shifts, and then revs up a couple hundred rpm for a split second, and then drops the rpms like it should. I called the dealer and explained it and the head mechanic says that it sounds like something is out of adjustment, and that he can fix it real quick. I don't know if its in the linkage or computer or what. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas or has had this problem and was able to fix it. Thanks
