As you now know, if you ask a question like yours, you'll get 50 different answers, leaving you just as confused as what you were when you started.

I will add my 2 cents. Good sound, and cheap/low price seldom go together. Yeah, the cheap stuff sounds ok. But if you want good sound, and no drone, you're going to have to steer clear of the cheap stuff.

I like Borlas. They're not cheap. But very seldom, if ever, does anyone here, who have them, complain about the sound. You can choose your volume level with Borlas.

I totally changed muffler to a magna flow and that changed sound for sure. I then upgraded rest; headers, y-pipe, catalytic converters and cut it all back so my muffler is actually up under bed near the cab and the tip is right there too. Dont have to see it at all and its tucked up so no worry about damage while off roading.

Just change the muffler to an aftermarket brand. Flowmaster, Magnaflow, Borla, pick your favorite brand. The stock dual tips look great as they are.

if u want more flowmaster 10
if u want more 3" QTP cutout

u could just do 3' QTP cutout for 79 bucks
and it would sound badass then close it if u want stock
takes 3 minutes to switch

Flowmaster Super 10, 2.5" single in 3" dual out, only like $90, you can do it your self if you have the right tools but i took mine to a muffler shop and they only charged me $100 for install. Honestly love the sound and wouldn't change it. Plan on adding Flowmaster 5" tips next.
