EGR not ready?

So I went to get an inspection on my truck today. FAILED, egr system not ready. Thing is I can't find an egr valve on my truck nor have ever seen one. I'm under the impression the new trucks don't have an egr valve? I don't have any codes, what gives?

The newer Hemi's don't have an egr valve.

That's what I thought too but I failed the emissions test because it wasn't ready. The OBD II test is looking for it but it ain't there.

Take it back to them and show them....

There is no EGR 09+

No egr it accomplishes it with variable cam timing

Most states allow 1 not ready on newer vehicles that do emissions testing
