Am dealing with issues with 2015 2500 Cummins electrics. First posted in Audio/Electronics because I thought it was an electronics problem, this might be a better branch of forum.

Truck is fairly stock, a few add on. An Edge tuner, ***** front and back, LED light bar in grill and LED fog lamps in front bumper. Front ***** is wired directly to main baty (drivers side), no solenoid, plug in the control cable and go. Both front LED lights are on independent circuits, fused and toggle switches. The back ***** is on a solenoid located on fire wall, fused and toggle switch on dash.

I have tried to do very clean systematic install of all the goodies.

Didn't need the truck for a week (drove Mama's 07 Tundra with 177k on it that has never not started.) Had a rainy week here in Arkansas. Went out too start truck Monday and no click, was raining and wipers moved across windshield a couple times and buzzer weakly sounded. Then nothing. Dead

Put trickle charger on for 5 or 6 hrs in truck..... Nothing

Checked both batteries after charger time and secondary btty had about 6 volts and main btty 5 volts. I pulled main battery this morning, took to Auto Zone and did not have enough juice to test. Left on their charger for an hour and got too 60% charge. Testing machine showed bad battery.

In Feb 2018 both batterys were purchased from local (to my old home in Tx) $200 each, $100 each for install.

I have since moved to Arkansas in the sticks, 48 miles from nearest dealer. Ram and dealer won't honor warranty on 6 month old battery with a 2 year replacement warranty unless they install it. I have a 3 ton anchor in my front yard, Ram is dead dead dead. The dealers sarcastic suggestion was I tow the truck to Hot Springs to get the battery replaced. I cant put it in my Toyota and take it in, they have to install to honor their warranty.

What a pile of BS..... I'll just go get a battery at Auto Zone, it will cost me less than towing to town and worrying about damage to drive train...…..

Beware dealing with Dodge and warranties. Like the truck, but time will tell, but prob the last Dodge I will buy, definatly last MOPAR parts I will buy..... What chicken ****

Any comments?

If you didn't have issues before you added your "goodies" you know where to start looking for your issue. Sounds to me like there is a constsco drain on the battery.

That was my first thought, but I like to start with easiest repair first. I had to run into town to get Amp gage that went up to 20A so took battery in get tested. Will take batt back in get tested again before I buy new one. If that don't fix it I start pulling circuits
