First time posting in here and haven't found a similar thread to my issue.
My right rear turn signal bulb doesn't want to work.
The brake light filament works just fine, but the turn signal filament which is fine, won't. I constantly have the "lamp out" message on my dash and the right front hyper flashes.
I've traced the wires and found no breaks, rubs, or pinches. I've replaced the bulb and even the whole mother board assembly that the bulbs plug into.
I've put a dab of dielectric grease in the connectors for the bulbs, and the plug that the wiring harness plugs into. All other lights on the truck work perfectly fine.
If that wasn't frustrating enough, I've figured out that if I turn on my right indicator and give the taillight assembly a firm smack, the turn signal works! Only to go out again as soon as I pull out of my driveway.
Anyone have a similar experience or advice? I'm very mechanically inclined, but electrical issues have always been my kryptonite.
TIA
