Truck finally gets to come home!!!!!!!!! Where are those dang nanners!!!

:big_banana_Dance:

There they are!!!

So the dealer wasn't really able to find the root cause. The wires were just being really hard to trace. So the dealer went and made a new ground for each of the affected accessories. Turns out there was a melted wire in the harness somewhere. So the dealer eliminated that wire and gave the accessories their own individual ground. YAY!!!!

Well didn't set me back as much as my tires. But sadly on the way home the problem moves. Dam gremlins. So now its in the fogs. Well dealer said bring it back we got this. Lol so that's cool. And I get a loaner car. Think its a 2012 charger. At least I hope. But at least the truck is driveable. Funny thing though. After the guy redistribution the ground wires my ABS brake light that has been on for 2 years went off. But the ABS is still jacked up. So I pulled the fuse. Gonna have them check that out too. I can't complain about this dealer. They did everything to make it right for keeping it so long. As a plus they are hobnail mount and balance my new tires for me.

Lol meh when it rains it pours. We both know all that too well. So now when I go to wash my windshield it gives me the light saying my fogs are on. Then if I hit the fogs the wipers go. Sheesh. I think they need to just run new grounds to everything. Oh well.

Might be easier to just pull out a full wiring harness from another like year truck from the salvage yard...

That's why I have the car. Not only a backup but a gas saver.

Truck is all back in order and ready for winter. Sorta... Anyway. Added a new ground to each of the accessories. Now they all work. Had something to do with the body control module and it's ground wire. The wire apparently broke off but not sure where so the dealer just ran new grounds from the frame to every accessory. So all is good now. And in the future folks if you have something like this happen. Get a wire tap and add a new ground see if that works. Save yourself a few hundred bucks.

Cheers
