My son hooked up a stereo. As soon as the radio was turned on, it started to smoke. I turned off the power and removed the stereo. Now there is no power when the key is off...door locks dont work, lights don't come on, interior lights dont come on. I removed the dash thinking I would find burned wires, but found nothing. CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE???

Is there power when the key is on? Check coming off the battery for the main fuse (fuse-able link?). Possible that popped. Might also have burned the ACC wire on the backside of the key switch.

Yes there is power when the key is on...no blown fuses and I didn't see or smell any burned wires under the dash or in the steering column. Any other ideas man???
