Dude your engine bay is looking sweet. Were going to have to meet sometime so I can drool over it.

Thanks bro! Definitely, anytime. I'll bring a tissue, lol. ;)

Sweet. Just got my red catch can today. I'll have to grab those matching parts too.

Looking good! Funny how the red looks totally different in person than in the pics, huh.

good luck with 3g they used my truck to make the half covers then took them 6 months yo give them to me and heres some ideas

... and as far as pcm cover im having one mocked up as we speak

I love your engine bay, thanks for the pics!

That's weird, I got my 3g engine covers in under 2 weeks from the day I ordered.

I am interested in the pcm cover, who is "mocking it up?"

I just bought an old Wrangler one and cleaned it up, next I am gonna cover it with carbon fiber.

Looks Awesome David.

Thanks bro!

Is there someone making carbon fiber for the PCM cover?

Oh and your engine bay is looking pretty damn awesome!

Thank you, definitely still a work-in-progress!

I will wrap the carbon fiber stuff myself, or duplicolor has a carbon fiber look paint kit...

Good news.

3gCustomz has agreed to make my battery cover!

Plus, once we perfect the design, it will be available on their website for purchase.
It will be available with custom cut outs on top (like their engine covers) or: Mopar, Hemi, Ram, etc..
It will be based on this design:

Vinyl wrap is always an option on your covers too David. I did some 3D carbon fiber vinyl, which comes is different colors BTW including "spicy" red and black, and clearcoated over the vinyl. It turned out great. This was on my old Rumble Bee. I didnt yellow and silver carbon fiber. I'll post a pic if I can find one. Your truck is looking awesome Bro!

Thanks bro! I already ordered some of the 3d vinyl to play around with. Add a little gloss clear coat and it could look great! :)

where is the terminal cut outs on top of cover

The terminals on mine are flush with the top of the battery... Do the terminals stick up over the top on other years batteries?

This design will slide down over the battery, no need to even disconnect the cables. It will fit with or without the heat shield cover.

Yes they are flush but might want a cut out if you hit a bump and the pos hits that metal thats going to be an electrical night mare

its not really flush id rather be safe then sorry

i have covers on mine but if you leave the heat cover on it will be fine but that cover would not work for mine since i had my system installed got bigger terminals with power wire out lets

That's a good point. On mine, I am gonna leave the heat cover on, so I am not worried about anything touching the steel cover.
For some there would need to be an open design. I am going to send 3g a couple more designs, once I get mine and can look at ways to improve it.

Thanks for your input Walt!
