After a dead 12V battery and installing a new one, I am now getting the P0AC0 and U0412 codes. I have a 2019 w 5.7 w etorque. I have had 80k of perfection but this week i got a dead battery, jumped it, and then got CEL of P0AC0 and U0412. (Etourque battery pack A, current sensor, A current range/perfoemance. U0412 is invalid data received from Battery Energy Control Module. I put in a new 12v battery, cleared the code, but the CEL is back. I read on-line the possibilties of what it may be. Has anyone else dealt with this? I would sure like to fix it myself and not take it to the dealer if possible.

Does your vehicle have a secondary battery, maybe for auto start/stop?

Yes. It’s the 48v ETorque light-hybrid battery that most current generation RAMs have

Thanks. I am pretty sure that it is the issue too. I need to know what to do to fix it.

You may be in luck if it's the 48 volt battery, but you may be just slightly out of luck also.....

Quote:
The eTorque 48-volt battery and related components in a 2019 Ram are covered by a federal emission warranty for 8 years or 80,000 miles. This warranty covers the Belt Driven Hybrid Starter Generator Assembly, Catalytic Converter, Powertrain Control Module, and the Power Pack Unit (48 Volts). It's important to note that this warranty is separate from the standard Powertrain Limited Warranty, which is typically 5 years or 60,000 miles.

Thanks. That sucks. I had 79,500 when it happened but have 81,000 now.
