I have a 2004 1500 5.7 while driving the engine will sometimes shut off when going into sharp curves or stopping for a traffic light. Will restart after pumping pedal a few times. At that point you have to power brake to drive.

Any Check Engine Light? if so what is (are) the code(s)?
I would check all the wiring, grounds, make sure the readout from the sensors are all within specs.
What is the mileage on your truck? What maintenance have done on it in the past year or so?
