I drive a 97 ram 1500 5.2L and recently while driving the battery fell onto the serpentine belt because the holder broke. It made a hole in the battery and got acid all over. Now it will only start after cranking the engine over and over for about 10 or so minutes. (With breaks in between obviously) and once it starts it will start right up untill it sits over night then it won't start. But when it is running it idles at a low rpm probably around 60p-700 rpm and once you let off the throttle the rpm drops almost to zero and the truck almost dies. I think its the IAC sensor but I am not sure. This is the only vehicle I have and I need it to get to work and school please help me I'm trying to learn as much as I can.
