Hey y'all.. newbie here. Wasn't sure the best spot to post my question. If it would be better answered on board please point me in the right direction
I have a 2012 dodge 3500 6.7
I cranked it up to run to town and it sounded sluggish almost like I had a battery issue it also made a sound I can't quite describe/figure out . I turned it off and restarted with no issues. 15 miles up the road I get a knocking noise that increases in speed as you accelerate. All of my gauges are good no smoking etc I pull over. After I get it hauled back to the house I checked for blow by and nothing there either. Changed my oil (which was really nasty) and I
Still have a knock. I got a service light a while back that my EGR award dirty. I didn't have it cleaned because I have/had intentions of deleting her. Could this be related to that? Maybe an injector? I'll appreciate any advice on what to check next. I'll attach a video of the sounds.
