I am new to the forum, hopefully posting in the right area. I have a 2009 Ram 1500 5.7L. The check engine light came on showing a faulty O2 sensor, I changed the sensor, and after a few days the light came back on, the light has been on for some time now and checked the codes yesterday.... P0032, P0038, P0052, P0058. The codes appear to show the same condition for every code. Any ideas will help.

Which one of the sensors did you change? The codes are for the upsteam pass side sensor

No I have not figured this out yet, the sensor I changed was the driver side downstream, it was the first code I was getting, the codes i get now are for all for sensors, I'm sure it is not a sensor issue, has to be something in common with all sensors.

Since an O2 sensor is part of smog isn't that covered for the full drive train warranty?

the O2 sensor is part of the Emissions warrantee. i think for 100,000 miles. if i were you, put the original one back in and take it to the dealer and have them replace it...free of charge...

Problem solved

Did some research and found jeeps that were showing the same mil codes and had to have three pcm replaced. I talked to my local dealer and they ran diagnostics, and said ineeded a new pcm, had one installed under the powertrain warranty and the codes are aol clear. Apparantly dodge is having an issue with some pcm's.
