you know of the plenum issues too right? hughes has a nice kit to fix that also. or just totally eliminate the problem and get a hughes airgap. dont know if i would go with a m1 or not. m1 also moves the powerband up. great for the race track though. and the m1 is alot cheaper.

i also did a double roller timing chain. i went with the mopar one. i also got the mopar tensioner. should keep that chain nice and tight for a long time.

here are some good heads at a pretty good price. it is the ones i am using. sent mine to a local shop and had mine ported and all that jazz. the engine guru there(thats all they do is hypo motor work) said he had never seen those ones before, but said they were really nice heads. nice and true. if you are planning a blown aspect then dont get them milled unless absolutly necessary. it will up your compression. which you dont want if you are planning a turbo. i even had the mopar 600 lift springs which i bought extra to install on my new heads. he said i didnt need them the springs that came with the heads were just as good. so i sold them.

Zack do they have cams out at 115-116 lsa? Those are boost and spray lovers in most motors.

On the bottom of the factory aluminum intake is a steel plenum plate with a gasket between the two mating surfaces. The two types of metals expand and contract with heat at different rates and eventually causes the gasket to fail. This leads to knock, loss in performance, and excessive oil consumption.
The Hughes kit comes with new hardware and an all aluminum plenum plate to eliminate the issues with the factory set up

your best bet for a new cam is getting ahold of someone like comp and they will get you a grind right for your needs.

the 5.2 stock cam is ground on a 115lsa and the 5.9 is a 117lsa if i remember right.

aluminum heads would be better. they take care of the heat better. and some GOOD headgaskets like titan brand.

We won't call you names. Just get on your nerves asking for pics/vids when you do it :D
