Ok I know I’m new here but I need some help. I have a 2009 Ram 2500 with the hemi. The motor just got a fresh rebuild. I have a noise I’m unsure of that occurs after about 10 minutes of idle or drive time. It doesn’t seem to matter if the truck is warmed up or not either. From startup it takes roughly 10 minutes for the noise to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My 2006 2500 Hemi sounded the same after being rebuilt. Turned out to be a leaking exhaust manifold gasket. In my case I used a gasket for a 1500 Ram so the gasket wasn't sealing the EGR port on the cylinder head.

Here's the funny part, your 09 2500 is a 3rd gen body with a 4th gen engine lol...you may get better answers in the 4th gen section.

And since he has a 4th gen engine, it won't have EGR so it definitely isn't that.
