Has any used the Engine Quest Monster Magnum Cylinder heads, I have a set that lasted 1 hour and a valve stuck and banged a piston.
I spent 1 year building a 411 stroker motor and I finally finished it and installed it this week, started it the other night and man did it sound mean. I only ran it for about 30 seconds and then shut it off, I didn't have the headers connected and it was 10:30 at night. So the next day I connected the exhaust system and checked all the fluids, started it and ran it for about a hour to see the cooling fan cycle twice. I went to rap the throttle and at about 2100 rpm's I heard the death rattle and the motor shut off. i removed the right side valve cover and found number 2 exhaust valve stuck down, now a have a chipped lifter and a bent push rod.
