Engine replacement

Can anyone give me a list of engines that can replace the 4.7 In a 2002 dodge ram quad cab, 4x4? Preferably ones that can still easily be found for sale

The 5.9 was in the 02 1500's only. Not sure what the trans was with it or if compatible with the 4.7 engine but the 5.9 was a factory option.

Other than another 4.7 everything else is a huge undertaking.
Barely anything is compatible between engines.
Not like the good old days when all you needed were maybe different motor mounts.

Did you blow the motor or just looking for a better performance engine or something like that?

The mileage is high on my engine, so I'm looking other engines and a price goal for money I need to set aside for when it finally does go.. Don't wanna be caught with my pants down ya know
