So I have an 06 1500 with a bad motor. But I found an 03 Dakota with the same size motor.can anyone tell me itll work? Or will there be extra steps involved?

Looking at your profile. You have a 5.7 hemi. I don’t believe a Dakota came from the factory with one. They had 4.7s or 5.9s.

Do you have a 4.7 or 5.7 in your 1500? Because as he said, no Dakota ever came with a hemi from the factory.
