EVIC Trailer Trip???

What is it, and how does it operate. Just noticed it scrolling through things that can be displayed. I thought maybe putting the tow/haul on would start it, but nope, didn't register any miles. What do you have to do, and what is it used for.

It will count how many miles you tow. Trailer needs to be connected.

Nope, trailer connected, tow/haul engaged, trailer lights plugged in...No miles recorded. What am I missing?

Do you have a brake controller? It only records miles for me with my boat trailer that has electric brakes. It doesn't record any miles with my small utility trailer.

Thanks, that's what I was wondering. It only works when you have the electronic brake control option. My trailer only has surge brakes.
