Hello,
I have a question for those more knowledgeable. Maybe a Ram Technician is on the site.
Will the dual exhaust from a TRX mount and work on a 2024 Rebel GT? What about the exhaust header/manifold from a 6.4 HEMI?

If yes, what changes would I have to make?

I stated I have a ‘24 GT with the OEM performance exhaust. Was wondering if I could get and install the OEM 6.4 Headers and TRX exhaust, without major MODS?

Thanks for any help

If you have warranty, I'd leave the manifolds well alone until such time as there is an actual manifold leak.
Then you could possibly upgrade, but doing so with a great dealer that is there to work with you so your warranty is not affected.

Unless of course you're not concerned about the warranty, then I'd be doing long tubes and really netting gains.
You'll not gain much if anything by going with another set of stock manifolds, albeit them being OEM 6.4's.

If you have the cat back TRX exhaust... you could conceivably install it after the OEM cats.
I'd go to a custom exhaust shop for a proper welded installation.

However, if you're really looking to get your 5.7 to breathe better, look to having a great exhaust shop fab up a custom y-pipe.
That's a huge bottleneck for our engines where the factory smashes two 2.5" pipes into one small collector and then goes back to the rest of the exhaust system.

I should have been clearer. I have the ability to get a set of exhaust manifold from a 6.2 or 6.4 HEMI. Challenger or. Charger. They looks similar to short headers, so I was wondering if they would work on my truck, or would the modifications be a PITA?

Warranty is a concern. That why I was looking at using OEM parts for now.

The OP never did say if he tried them, and hasn't been here in about 4 years

Understood on your ask.

While they are still OEM parts, and your concerns in not affecting your warranty in any way, I'd still leave the stock ones on at this point.

Yes, the stock cast 5.7 manifolds are boat anchors and restrictive, but you're still putting used parts on your "still in warranty" truck.

The caveat to this though, is if you have a great dealership Service Manager to work with, and they are cool with affecting any warranty items on the engine and overlook the "different from stock manifolds/headers", then have at it.

Back in my LX/LC days the common 5.7 upgrade would be to slap on the 6.1 headers. They installed well, but tweaking was required so everything aligned at the collectors. We'd also upgrade to the 6.1 timing set, too, and that was a nice upgrade that fit with zero issues. Plus a ported & polished 6.1 intake...that was a great mod on the 5.7's then!

You would gain better/smoother flow with the 6.2/6.4 headers vs the 5.7 manifolds, but not huge power. If you're going this route, upgrade to a custom y-pipe at the same time, is my $0.02.

Thank you for the reply.

The set I’m looking at are “used,” but came off of a Scat Pack on the dealer floor. Left over 2023. The purchaser wanted headers so the dealerships swapped them out for him.

I just happened to be there that day having a Recall done. Guy offered them as he won’t be using them.

Dealer said they would install and provide paperwork showing it was done by them. Hopefully avoid any warranty issues.

I talked the owner into taking them home. Told him I would contact him this week with an answer.

Really appreciate you reaching out and giving me food for thought.

The dealership indicating they'd do the work and provide paperwork... perfect!
Curious...what was their price to you for them?
Get the dealer to also use SRT gaskets and SRT bolts, too.

You'll need a custom Y pipe,or mod your existing Y pipe,as they won't bolt up to your stock Y pipe

I am buying them from the owner of the car for $200. Installed at the regular hourly rate for the dealership.

Using their gaskets and hoping the tech knows how to get it done quick per the book. I hope to be in for about $600. Not including the TRX dual exhaust. Or having an exhaust shop run dual system for it.
