Exhaust system help

Hello everybody!

I am in need of some suggestions to what I should install for an exhaust system in my '96 5.9l. I need something that is street legal, but still has a mean sound. All my buddies are either Ford or GM guys so they arent any help! Let me know what you or you're buddy has for exhaust set-up. Will be much appreciated!

haha, that's why I didn't see the post. I ordered my kit custom from a website that I will give you. I have a single in/ dual out kit where the intermediate pipe goes into the muffler and then exits in a dual set up and continues out two pipes and exits as two tips under the rear bumper. I have a flowmaster 40 series muffler, and it has a deep rumble but is not loud by any means. I am ordering the flowmaster Super 44 and it is supposed to have an aggressive tone and a deep rumble at idle. I have a buddy who has a flowmaster 50 series HD on his silverado and it is a loud deep rumble with no crackling and it doesn't get much louder. Mine has no drone as you drive down the highway either.

Go with the Flowmaster 40, mean sound but not a lot of noise when your rollin down the street, just enough to get noticed.
