Are the dual 2019-2020 Exhaust tips the same as 4th Gen tips? Look the same but didn't know if they are the same size exhaust or bolt on the same.

dalt 10 have 16 sport some knucklehead hit rear bumper mangled one of exhaust tips body shop installed mopar part 68284731aa which are from 19-20 thay fit okay same as orginal also that number is for the black tips

Not saying it can't be made to fit. A welder can make it fit. Does the clamp fit well? Don't know. Havent tried it. To be honest I did find a thread off site that said they are the same but the new ones don't come with clamps. If i had been in the market for 4 inch black ones I might have tried 2019s if i could find at a decent price. But I wanted 5" black...and the only used 2019 set I saw the guy wanted basically dealer retail as he said he took them off a new truck as soon as he bought it. I honestly could have sworn there was a difference on the end otherwise. Length or how they mate. I guess I could be wrong.

Why is it so hard for me to get this answer? Just trying to figure out pipe size without taking my existing tips off on my 2014 RAM.

I just measured my old tips form my 2016. the bell is 2.5" ID. I can't get deep enough inside the bell to measure the part where you have the arrow, but it's 2.25 OD

I just measured circumference and divided it to get outside diameter and I got 2.069", what a pain to get one single exact measurement. I was never great at math though so not positive my measurement is correct.
