Hi,

Hopefully I don't get too much hate for this. I have the 18 Ram Big Horn, and I am not a fan of how boring it looks. Even worse it looks like every other truck out there. Looking for suggestions or ideas on how to make it more pleasing to the eye. I thought about Fender flares, grill guard etc. But looking more for ideas on how to make it more dimensional instead of so round and flat.

No hate but why did you buy something you don't like? Lots of choices out there, go buy something that appeals to you. You could start throwing all kinds of money at the current truck and still not like it at the end of the day

Honestly I'm not trying to be rude but I would have bought another brand that I thought looked better. The 4th gen Ram is still the best looking truck made in my opinion. There are so much you can do to it to make it your own but it has to fit your taste. I can't choose that for you. Good luck at finding a better looking truck!

Bumpers, sport hood, and tires are gonna make the biggest difference in looks, but all 3 are fairly expensive.

I like the truck in regards to the interior and and engine etc. Just want to make it stand out so its not so plain Jane. Just wish it had a little more dimensions to it.

The possibilities are really endless with the Ram. Lots and lots of aftermarket stuff for them. I would come up with a game plan. Do you like the street look or the off road look and then go from there.

Tires, exterior mods, lifted, de chrome, paint scheme, new hood, aftermarket lighting, the list is ENDLESS. Comes down to one thing: How much of the Ole Mighty Dollar U got to spend.

Paint it pink. Not a whole lotta those out there. lol

j/k

Aside from all the other mods mentioned, powder coated rims are a good way to break away from the pack. Any color you want. I did mine to match my bottom paint on the 2-tone and I've never seen another Ram like mine. I've seen lots of them the way it used to look, but never this combination. Once I get my Scorpion lined front brush plate on and color match my RAM on my tailgate it'll be even more separated from the stock ones.

I guess I am just boring, having a 5th Gen. Just added a full tonneau cover, mud flaps, and AVS II Aeroskin Hood Piece. Rest is stock. Did replace the shoes from stock SRA to Falken WIldpeak AT3W's. 2019 truck new pic.JPGIMG_0614.JPGNew tire on truck.jpgNew tires left side truck.jpg

Nothing boring about a 5th gen either. You have a fine looking truck!
TY, silly stupid expensive GG truck with occasional towing. I actually bought this 2019 early truck in Aug 2018 and went to the shore 3rd week of Aug after I bought it that year, 2018. It got a lot of looks then, but now nothing special. Had fun on the GSP and I 195 also. It took them roads and PA 81 no issues. Heck, I got 22 mpg on road, cannot complain. But as U know, some PLL go a lil crazy on Mods. I personally never did. Back in early 70's, had 2 dr Chevy Impala SS with 396, the candy apple red which had a lot of small Ford Blue paint spots on it to cover rust, the things U do as a kid, LMAO.

ADDED: I cannot find a single picture of dat old chevy, wat a bummer. Wat a monster, 3 on tree, clutch spring like 150 lbs, all manual, power nothing except for power assist brakes, a real gem, hee hee. But it was fun.

I like some mods. I never wanted mine to look like anyone elses. Even those blue spots you're talking about made it "Yours" LOL

Great looking ride with a lot of good mods. I won't pull my rear diff cover, but a Catch Can and a Hellwig sway for the rear are planned mods in the future.

Can we see what your working with?
MAYBE an old design wiz from the late 50's will bring them fins back??? :anitoof::joke::signs6:

CAVEAT: I really like the suspension upgrades Gray Goose has done under his truck, The most I will get done is a rear sway, and I still need to add a catch can unda the hood.
