Hi,

Hopefully I don't get too much hate for this. I have the 18 Ram Big Horn, and I am not a fan of how boring it looks. Even worse it looks like every other truck out there. Looking for suggestions or ideas on how to make it more pleasing to the eye. I thought about Fender flares, grill guard etc. But looking more for ideas on how to make it more dimensional instead of so round and flat.

Frank
Go to Mex, they have lots of things for it.

That's one of the things that brought me to the site initially, and still does.... is seeing all the different looking Rams and ideas. Even if they look the same on the outside, the interiors and beds open up a whole different and unique surprise to be had.

This is what we call American Hot Rod :waytogo:

Wondering if you're "feeling" like the style is mundane because you see so many of them on the road? If that's the problem, no popular mass made machine is gonna satisfy more than a couple years at a time.

I see more RAM Gen 4 creative varieties than just about anything else on the road. Make your ride your own. Tons of options including trading it out.

Simple, vehicle wrap likedarker colr on bottom graduating to lighter color. Stripes wave like or fan out towards rear to different color. Quick change and will not look like the same truck. Bored with that peel it off add another. Works great on my second one. Run it though car washes, parked in sun and drive 12,000 per year. Never garaged.

You can start by adding a blower & of course adding a cut out in your hood. This way all the neighbors will hear you coming. Add LED roof lites & no one will miss you!

With all the computer programs available, download one and play around with different ideas. Surely you can come up with one that stands out to you. Love my 2011 Sport, sometimes I think about going to a new 5th generation, but in the process of building a new house at the moment, so won't be doing that right away. Main thing is, before you do anything at all, make sure it's what you really want.

Well I know what advice you're getting ready to hear so I'll get this party started and stay out of this after I say the only thing I would change on it if it was mine is change the steps to chrome (I personally don't like steps and would remove them if I didn't need them) and add white letter tires to it to break up some of the black! I'm done! LOL

Basically how mine started. Lots of Chrome. Do you like the chrome? If not its time to start deleting as I did. Its a sharp truck for sure! Black or dark grey? I did headlights to dark ones, taillights to black LEDs, third break light black led, bumper lights black led, I did a full bulb swap so every bulb is led including the headlights and fogs. I had my bumpers, door handles and grill painted to match the truck, I removed the chrome clad covers on those same wheels and then painted them. I do have the part number for the correct center cap that works. You could either paint the ram in the grill and tail gate or you cold get some mopar ones. I actually made mine. I like the running boards, but I removed mine as they had seen better days. I added 5" black exhaust tips those look good or you could stay with bigger chrome ones. You could always change the hood. I did I went from that cowl hood to the sport. I went with a really good fiberglass one, gives you the look and saves weight. I guess it all comes down to mild to extreme. Mine tended to end up more on the extreme side, but still didn't break the bank as I did it in stages.
