A friend of mine who has a 13 ram 1500 without the factory dual exhaust has been looking around for a used setup but isn't sure what a reasonable price would be. Anybody have an idea what they go for?

^^^What he said. Factory exhaust is not worth "upgrading" to. I just bought the cherry bomb extreme muffler off their website for 52.99 shipped to the house. The muffler shop that I've always used in the past said they would install the muffler and delete the resonators for < $120. They said it might be lower than that but without seeing the job they can't quote it with great accuracy. Most shops should be about the same.

I've seen them posted for sale from $200 to $1200 (lol..), I think he's also going to have to get the bumper with the cutouts or the stock tips won't clear.

Hi bloombloom,

If he wants to keep it all factory why is he changing from a single to a dual exhaust. That does show up in the build sheet.
Just sayin'

I guess he wants the look of the factory duals, and he already bought a bumper.

I don't think factory is all that bad, it's all stainless steel, large pipes, and had nice tips. And according to a lot of members on here, flows pretty good. Just look at all the posts saying it's not worth upgrading over stock. Lol.
If he can get an ok deal on one he should have a nice exhaust. Stock sounds decent. I have a stock exhaust in my basement, upgraded to Magnaflow catback, been on the truck since new. I'm in Canada though, so shipping could be an issue, price wise. I do swing down just over the boarder to pick stuff up that I get shipped there though. There is a UPS store right there too.

I got a factory dual setup from another member on her for around 200. For the less than the cost of a dual kit from somewhere else, I have a dual stainless exhaust. I dont plan on doing enough engine mods to need any better flow than stock.
