Has anyone upgraded the bulbs in their factory projectors? I love the way they look but the output IMO is horrible. I don't really want to do a whole HID upgrade. I'm hoping to just swap out the factory bulbs with much brighter ones. Thanks in advance!

I put PIAA lights in my 2011 ram. They were $100 so not cheap bulbs but when I switched to HID'S there was no comparison. The HID'S were by far the better light. The output of the HID'S now in my 2014 is nuts too. I'd recommend Retroshop for new lights. Jeremy ' s customer service is great. If you do go the HID path get Can bus adaptors. They're easy, don't get the harness...it's a nightmare lol

I have the factory projectors with HIDs. It's awesome. Make sure to get the CANBUS ballasts. They work great!

Like everyone else has said... go HID. You're going to have to remove your headlights to install the new bulbs. Might as well run the extra wires while you have everything removed.
