Falken wildpeak a/t

Someone I know is selling some Falken wildpeak a/t that he bought back in 2017. I know tires is a pretty worn out subject just trying to get some opinions. Also, the ones I’m seeing nowadays are a/t3 tires and from what I could tell these are just a/t’s, any feedback on what I can only imagine is the first generation of the wildpeaks?

Never owned but, from what I have read and been told, they wear fast and the siping is shallow. The become useless on wet roads.

The scuttlebutt on the older wildpeaks had me initially skeptical of the AT3W’s when deciding on my tires. Very pleased at the 12k mark so far with the 3W’s.
I wouldnt consider the older models if I were you.

I put a set on Early March, and been happy with the newest version, quiet, good snow and mud traction.

Haven't driven in heavy rain yet, TBD.

I ran Michelin LTX /AT2 on my 2013 1500, loved them except they picked up a lot of rocks on gravel. Good in mud, excellent wear, over 70K. I drive 50K hwy miles, some rock.

I have a set of 35” first generation Wildpeak ATs on my other truck and I’m not impressed. Just my opinion.

Just put a set of the newest version on my truck last Friday. So far so good!
