I’ve been using Falken Wildpeak AT3 for the first tire and loved them, so now switching to the AT4 for my next tire. My AT3 were E grade tires and have been great, as I do pull an Airstream so I do load up, and run my AT3s at 65 psi when hauling, 45 and 40 when not hauling.

So I ordered the AT4s and when they showed up at my door, I see they are C grade tires, so they are not really made for loads, more like off-roading only. And max psi is quite low, like 35, I think it said on the tire wall.

I can’t seem to find 135/70-17 AT4 with the E grade 10 ply, nor 35/12.5-17. For those of you with the Wildpeak AT4, what grade are you running, and are you carrying any loads?

Am I missing something?

They make that style and size in an E rated tire. Did a quick search on Amazon and Discount Tire and they both say you can get a set by early next week. Did see on Tirerack they were currently sold out.

If you have a power wagon you definitely dont want a c rated tire.

https://www.falkentire.com/wildpeak/at4w#size-list has all available sizes and loads. Item # 28847282 is the 35/12.5-17 "E" rated tire.

Sure, but in a different size than what the original poster is looking for.
Well, what size did he buy, as he didnt state that. What size is he even looking for? He posted a 135/70/17 which obviously was a typo, or a 35x12.5/17.

The only 35x12.5/17 they make is load range E. The only 315/70/17 they make is load range C.

Right, typo for sure.

315/70-17 or 35/12.5-17

I think an E is available, so I’m tracking that down now.

In the at3w we used the metric size for load range E. In the at4w they used the standard size both are with in neglect able size difference.

The post I quoted was looking at 285/70R17 tires. In the OP he did typo 135/70/17 but also stated 35x12.50R17. Based on that I assume he just transposed the "1" and the "3" and meant 315/70.
