I have 2002 dodge ram quad cab 4x4 4.7 liter V8 truck that I would like to do some mods to help get it off the line a little quicker and accelerate a little faster? This is actually my first car so I don't know a whole lot about engines, I know quite a but but still trying to learn. What could I do to give it a head start?

You either have 3.55s or 3.92s..If you want to get off the line faster, I would go up to 4.10s from 3.55s or 4.30s from the 3.92s. The reason I do not suggest going from 3.92s to 4.10s is that you will not see a whole lot of difference for the money you will need to pay to install gears. Remember, since yours is a 4x4, you will need 2 sets of gears...one for the front axle and one for the rear. Now, if you really want to go extreme, you could go 4.56s! LOL!

Haha what do all the sizes mean and how much of a damage to my wallet are we taking about for each one?
