Make best with what you have and enjoy. Sometimes miss the my old 3.7 QC. Also what you lack in go you can make up in show :)

100% true. Ive tried just about everythig on mine and didnt notice a single gain. Not to burst any bubbles here but the 3.7 was never designed to be a "go fast" type of engine hence the reason for slim pickings in the after market. It came in base model trucks and got decent fuel economy. I sold all my aftermarket performance parts and turned my direction towards the show part of things. Only thing i have left is my k&n drop in filter ( because its reusable) and my custom exhaust with the y pipe removed. Youll see some gains with bolt ons but nothing thatll snap your neck in the butt dyno. I put 4.56 gears in mine and it can get out of its own way now but its still pretty darn weak

Most people dont believe me when i tell them it was orginally a base model

Programming, good intake and exhaust, head work, custom cams, and trans work (converter, etc) with gears can go a decent ways for a small engine.

I'm not spending a penny on performance until I pick up my Hemi or CTD These 3.7s aren't worth the money or effort in my opinion.6.gif

I would so what moparman did if I had a 3.7. Not worth the money to me
