So the trucks scheduled monday to go get the 3" body lift on. It already has the leveling kit from rough country. I'm also going to be running 35x12.50x20 toyo OC at2 with is a true 12.5 tire as opposed to others which are 13 in section. So hopefully no wheel spacer involved.

I'm definitely wanting flares. But I cant decide between smooth rivet style or oem style. Both I would get painted to match my truck which is a black longhorn.
Concerns:
-rivet style - look too big for my width of tires on stock rims with no wheel spacers
-stock style - Im afraid the lack of rubber bushing will cause them to rub and cause issues with the paint 10 years down the road.

Any pictures of someone with a similar setup would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

I have the OEM 2500 flares with the double sided tape and there won't be any rubbing on my truck!

Cool, thanks. I prefer the look of the stock ones but was afraid when I go bigger Id regret it. Disturbedgator may have persuaded me towards the stock ones if he regrets them.

Emailed a tire and rim place I'm seeing if they can get a certain rim I want 20x9 with 4.61" back spacing and -10mm offset

I would say with that backspacing and offset the OEM flares would look better "fitted" to the tire (depending on what tire size and brand name are on there of course). Just my 2¢, I'm obviously partial to the factory flares lol.

I had an easier time finding power ranger toys in the early 90s than I am at finding the AT2s If i do get them Im going to end up paying premium for them so I'm also looking at the falken wildpeak it ends up being 35.2x13x20.. So wheel spacers will be involved.

check this video out...I have found these are by a company called STAMPEDE Products and these are called "Ruff Riderz" I have looked at several "rivet" style flares and I feel like these look the best. They don't look so "thick" and bulky. Let me know what you think, you can find these on ebay for around 350 bucks. If you watch the video the guys says "fender flares ruff riderz"

My two cents is to go for the smooth bushwacker flares if you're set on smooth and need tire coverage. They're wider than the oem's

I ended up going with a toyo mt 35x12.50x20. Which is actual 35x13x20. So I got 1/4" spacers from RCx till I get some made.

I talked to a few guys who ran the 35x12.50x20 toyo mt with 1/4" spacers and said no rubbing at all. The original tire I had planned was the 35x12.50x20 at 2. Which is at its widest 12.5 so it would have given me 1/4" on each side which would make up for the spacer.

The flares in that video are sick. Im going to look into them. I did however send an ebay listing to my mom for a set of 2500 painted flares that were take offs.. my birthday is in two weeks haha wonder if she will take the hint.
