Curious if someone can tell me if the HEMI badge was in the way of their fender flares? If they were did you just relocate badge or remove!? Any pics would be helpful! Thanks guys

When you removed badges did it leave any discoloration in paint from them being there. My truck is a 2015 so was curious if I did remove them if the paint would be any different.

There may or may not be a difference in the paint after you de-badge, it all depends on how you have taken care of the paint. If you have kept it waxed or protected there should not be a difference.

With the Bushwacker pocket flares most people reported they have to move the Hemi emblem.

For some reason, mine just fit without moving it.

I have an '18 2500 classic. Same bushwhackers, didn't have to move anything either. I think QC on Hemi placement isn't the best, and unfortunately you won't know if you'll have to move yours until you buy some and see the fitment, or take some really good measurements. Good luck!

If it’s an own style flare you should be fine- my bushwhackers requires removal but they are about twice the size of stock.

all paint will fade if it’s been out for much time. The darker colors will do it worse- it will leave a darker ghosting to where it was. It will blend over time once the uv gets to it. If it’s 5 years olds it will ghost. Mine did after only a year with black.

I had to remove mine, and no matter how careful you are you will need to replace them with new (very cheap though). There was no issues at all with any paint discoloration under the old badge, after the hairdryer treatment

I debadged my 2011 last year. Used 3m eraser wheel and Mqguires polish with a orbital polisher. Paint underneath looked as good as new with no evidence badges were ever there

I have a set of white(painted by dealership) fender flares for 2017 Ram 1500 crew cab made by Bushwacker. They were installed and immediately removed within the hour because I did not like the black rubber gasket that is between the flare and truck fender. The flares have been wrapped up and setting in a closet for 3 years. I live in the Houston area and yes they are free. The design is OE.
