Anyone pick up on this? Seems that Fiat is buying out the 41% held by the Union.

This is a tragedy that an American Car giant is now owned by an Italian company. I like the way Chrysler is heading in design and seems to have its aftermarket turning around with the SCAT package. It would be nice if the RAM market would open with some more power goodies.

Nothing wrong with European engineering. Whose fault is it that any given company gets bought out? Poor management/marketing? Whatever the case, just be lucky someone bought it out instead of it suffering or going under completely.

Maybe the trannies (Dodge's main complaint) might get some re-work. I'm already hearing the odd "thud" when it gears down, just under 5000KM.

Wasn't to long ago they were owned by a German company, Daimler-Benz. Now that was a sad situation.
