Filling 8HP70 without Exhaust

Hey

So I just got my new transmission installed and was wondering if I could do the fill procedure without hooking up any of the exhaust? Everything from the exhaust manifolds down is removed.

It would make filling this thing a hell of alot easier when she is running. I got a couple fans running to push the exhaust past me.

No worries. I have the afe race series stainless exhaust on my truck. 3.5 inch from headers to Muffler. Getting to the fill plug meant I was gonna get burnt. Ended up using my gauntlet welding gloves.

I got a pair of them as well but figured this will be alot easier since I already have the exhaust off! Ya i burnt myself a couple times before !!
