So I have been running 2.8" Bilsteins and 1.5" Zone BL on 33s and 20x12s since April. I love the look but Im ready to go bigger. I am debating the 6" RCX ($1345 Shipped) or the Full Throttle Suspension 6" Kit (around $1800 shipped). Im going to keep the Body Lift and run 35" M/Ts on the same wheels. My plan is run the Bilsteins at the stock height and lift the rear about 4". If I need to raise the front I will as I want it level if not a tad lower in the rear. My question is should I pay extra for the FTS or just stick with RCX? I will be installing this at home with hand tools. Below is how my truck sits currently. Thanks for your help. BTW I know I can fit 37 with the setup i want to run...I like wide wheels and some clearance.

Truck looks great man love the x12s I like the FTS kit but I've heard a lot of people having good luck with the rcx and haven't had any feedback about the FTS on dodges

Federals are doing good..got 6k miles on em and they look good..Havent rotated them yet lol. Ill be better when I get the 35s haha..

Well FTS offers Bilstein replacements as an option over the spacers, or I can get coilovers. The Bilsteins are longer for the 6" and adjustable like the leveling shocks. RCX doesnt offer anything. Im really looking at FTS bc the bilsteins or even just springing for a kit with coilovers.

Ok depending on what FTS quotes me at for their kit w/ Coilovers, Im looking at these two.
The BDS system w/ Fox Coil-overs and Fox rear shocks
Full Throttle Suspension 6" w/ Coil-Overs and Rear Shocks

I'm honestly not the biggest BDS fan, but I am a Fox fan. Not sure about FTS's warranty, but BDS offers lifetime (as does RCX) which is nice.

Definitely go for a little extra coin and get the coilovers. Looking back, I really wish I had gone that route myself.

Yeah I made that mistake with my last truck.. Got the fabtech basic kit. Then spent the money on coil overs, upper control arms etc. I really just want to knock it out all at once and not piece together a kit lol.

Full Throttle Suspension 6" is 2150 and their 8" is 2450..Then to add Coil-Overs it is 1580. They also offer a Military discount of $400 off the kit (not the Coil-Overs). So in total I would be looking at about $3300 for the 6" and $3600 for the 8" for the Full Throttle Kit with Coil-Overs.

Now, BDS offers a 10% discount. Their 6" Kit with Fox coil-overs lists for $4250 on their website. That puts me at about $3800.

Fabtech kit with Dirt Logic Coil-Overs is about $3300, just from what I have seen online. I havent really talked to a dealer about their prices though.

Finally, we have the Pro Comp 6" kit with Coil-Overs. It runs about $2900 online.

I am so confused on what I should run. I cam from GM World where FTS was very popular. Great Customer Service and product. I ran a Fabtech on my Silverado and had good luck with them. BDS is pricey, if I cant get a better price I will probably nix that option. Then Pro Comp is always a good choice.

Are you sure FTS makes a kit for the 1500's? I thought on their site it was only for the HD models.

I personally bought the 6" rough country lift. It's been great so far, had it about 5 months and no problems with it. I recommend it, plus it is cheaper. You can find an even lower price for it, try talking to the guys at bully's performance.

That's the first I've heard of an 8" kit for 1500s. I'd want to go that route simply to be different, but only if you would run 37s. 8" lift and 35s would be a LOT of fender gap.

Tire weight not so much height will be the main factor in 35s vs. 37. Find you a light 37 (look into the BFG KM2) and you won't see any more power loss than if you went with a heavy 35 (i.e. Toyos).
