Just checked the OLM this morning. Still looks good for having 3339 miles on it

Owners can normally go between 6K-10K miles following the Rams OLM. All depends on the driving habits / style.

A lot of life left in that OCI.

You are sacred as long as you follow it. (Warranty)

I would really like to get 5-10 owners who follow their OLM to take their next OCI from 0 to 97% then report back on how many miles they have gone. I know within these walls that is virtually impossible to get that type of participation. But it would be interesting to witness the differences.

Just to see if the actual different driving habits and styles of every owner fluctuates that much with the old life monitor.

Keep trucking.... I get around 9000 miles on an oil change. If you change it yourself you can take advantage of Pennzoil synthetic promotions. You get $2 per quart off the price of their "premium" flavor.

Typically I'm using 5.5 quarts (6-quart sump on the Pentastar) and I buy a $4.82 filter from Rock Auto that for the life of me look better than the OEM filter. I change the drain plug too... another $3.15 but at the end of the day it cost under $30 and you are using one of the better oils on the market.

But.... I'm very confident if you just went and bought the Pennzoil Yellow Bottle conventional and followed the same interval your engine would last just as long.

Thank you, I will monitor the OLM and when it's time I'll do my own oil change. This is such a relief and good news as well as money savings.
