My first Ram will be delivered next week! It was time to retire my Old Chevy after rolling over 200,000 miles (still a good truck, just time to get something with less miles), so I started looking. I'm fortunate that my folks still live outside Chicago, so my Dad volunteered to help me in my search. Together, we looked at all makes and models, but finally settled on a 2002 Ram 1500 Quad Cab with the long box. It was down by him, so he'll be driving it up to me on Wednesday!
The best part was yesterday, when we were discussing the logistics (I'm also moving from Minnesota to Michigan next Tuesday), and he mentioned the strange, non-factory key fob, and something on the inside of the window. I immediately recognized that the truck likely had a remote start, and asked him to take a pic of the fob and receiver, and I found out it does have the remote start - although not noted in the cars.com advertising! What a bonus living where it's cold...
