As mentioned, I can back up withdoor open as long as seatbelt is fastened. For tasks that require belt off I bought the extenders on Amazon (2/$12 including shipping). They do the *** but chime still sounds when starting the truck.

Do you guys not know that you can set your mirrors to tilt down when in reverse, which makes seeing a curb or how close you are to something very, very easy.

The problem, at least on mine, is that the mirror can't be "set" for the lower position. So I can't see anything except right, under the truck. I'm assuming this is beca use I don't have the seat/mirror memory? At any rate, it makes the auto tilt of mirrors pretty much useless.

It's the biggest annoyance about the truck so far. Loved that feature on my 2003 Avalanche and hate it on my 2019 Ram.... Grrrr.....

If I'm missing something someone please let me know. Thanks!

You can't set it per se, but it is a percentage of where you set your mirrors normally.

If you set them low normally, then the tilt part will be very low....if you set them high, it will be high.

Try adjusting the mirrors when you are in reverse and they are tilted to where you want, then take it out of reverse and see where they move to....

I've tried adjusting my mirrors upward, and have attempted to set it to the seat memory.

The mirrors tilt down to the same spot every time...

Yup.... pretty much....

I do think they came up some, but both nearly enough.

It's really a big miss IMO. Having two different adjusted places wouldn't have been hard for them to do at all.
