Hauled 1 ton" 2000 pounds" " a pallet of wood pellets" today. Between it, me/my wife/ the twins/ and all the other crap we bought and had truck was prolly with in 300 pounds of max payload. All i have to say is dam, it drove like a dream. I hauled the pellets about 125 miles back to my home town, lots of step grades and the truck didn't care.. it would pull them at 100 mph if i wanted it to, and the cruise control kept the truck in check even on a 8% grade. The truck sat almost lvl, the bed was still up just a little, fine by me because i hate when a truck squats, " only reason i am hesitant on doing a lvling kit". My last truck was a 1500 chevy and if i put 300 pounds in it i knew it was there lol, and this is my first Gasser 2500 and i am very pleased with it. Only bad thing was breaking, you could definitely tell there was a extra 2k in weight in it, and they felt a little soft, but some drilled/slotted rotors and some ss brake lines will fix that, all else fails, ill up the size of the rotors. All in all, the truck surpassed my expectations and i couldn't be happier.
