Flashing in a brake controller?

Hi Folk's:

Just traded my 2014 in on a 2016 and i love it! My question on installing a Prodigy brake controller is,can it be enabled on the evic or does it have to be a factory type of controller?

Only factory works with the evic, and anti sway control when hooked to a trailer

So an aftermarket brake controller won't activate the sway control?

I have heard a few report that the sway control will work on the truck but not the trailer, it only works with the trailer also when using a factory controller

I also use a Tekonsha Brake controller , Tekonsha Tech support told me the 2016 Rams Need a different adaptor harness. Part # 3024P. It has a diode in it to prevent damage to the brake system. I don,t know if I would use the one off your 2014. ,,, Just my 2 cents.

I just found my receipt for the brake controller plug and the one I have is the E3024-P. Good deal.
